When using the BOTS app, it is possible to encounter pending transactions while starting or adding funds to a bot. This FAQ article aims to provide clarity on why a bot may be pending and offers step-by-step instructions on how to resolve the issue.
Why is my bot pending?
A bot can be pending for various reasons, including the verification of payment status and incomplete or unsuccessful bank transfers. The pending status allows for necessary checks and verification processes to be conducted.
How long does the pending status last?
Typically, the pending status lasts for up to 48 business hours. During this time, the payment status is verified, and if successful, the bot will be approved and activated.
What should I do if the transaction remains pending for more than 48 hours?
If the transaction is still pending after 48 business hours, you can take the following steps:
- Go to the BOTS app and navigate to “Home” → “More” → “Assets & Payments.”
- From the “Assets & Payments” section, go to “Transfer History” → “Deposits.”
- Select the pending payment and click on “Cancel.”
- When prompted, choose “Yes, unsubscribe this bot.”
If the invested amount was deducted from your bank account, rest assured that the funds will be returned to the account of origin within 2-14 business days.
How can I make a new transfer after cancelling a pending transaction?
After cancelling a pending transaction, follow these steps to initiate a new transfer:
- Find a bot you would like to invest in within the BOTS app.
- Select “Start this bot” or “Add funds to this bot.”
- Enter the desired deposit amount for the bot (minimum €5 per bot).
- Choose a payment method from the provided list, such as available funds, bank transfer,
VISA/Mastercard, Apple Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna Sofort, Giropay, or eps-Überweisung. - Follow the in-app instructions to complete the process based on your chosen payment method.
How do I deposit via bank transfer?
If you prefer to deposit funds via bank transfer, follow these steps:
- Go to the desired bot within the BOTS app.
- Tap on “Start this bot.”
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit and click “Next.”
- On the payment method screen, select “Bank transfer.”
- If your last payment method appears by default, click on “Change” to select “Bank transfer.”
You will be redirected to the “Choose a payment method” screen, where you can select “Bank transfer”.

- You will be redirected to the “Manually transfer funds to your bot” page (Do NOT click “Confirm payment” yet).

- Return to the BOTS app and tap “Confirm payment” once the transfer is completed.
- If the transfer was successful, click “Yes, it has been transferred.”
