I’ve changed my phone number, but I forgot to change it in my BOTS account, what do I need to do to get back into the application?

In the 4.0.2 version of the BOTS app, we have introduced a convenient solution for users to change their phone number directly within their BOTS account. This article will guide you through the simple steps required to update your phone number and ensure that you have up- to date information in your user account. Please make sure you have installed the latest app version before proceeding with the instructions.

Step-by-Step Guide:

• Update to the Latest Version: Before you can change your phone number, ensure that you have the latest version of the BOTS app installed in your device. If you are unsure about your app version, please visit the official App Store or Play Store, depending on your device, and download the latest version.
• Log in to Your BOTS Account: Launch the BOTS app on your device and log in to your BOTS account using your linked phone number. Once you're logged in, you will be redirected to your account dashboard.
• Access Account Settings: Tap on the “Profile” menu located in the upper-right corner of your home screen. In the menu options, the first section will be the “Account Settings”.
• Change Mobile Number: Under the “Account” section, locate and select “Mobile number”.
• Enter Your Mobile Number: Select your country and the corresponding country code from the drop-down menu, and then insert your new phone number and click on the “Next” button.
• Mobile number verification: Changing your phone number requires you to verify that your updated number can receive SMS message. Once you’ve clicked on the next button, you will need to verify the number with an SMS code. Please note that there is a 48-hour withdrawal restriction for security reasons after changing the phone number.

Important to note: The above steps will only work if you have access to your old phone number, because to change your phone number, you need to log in to your account using your phone number. In case you don’t have access to your old number, don’t worry, we have a solution for you to get this issue resolved as soon as possible.

• Contract, invoice or any official document which shows your name linked to the
  above-mentioned phone numbers.
