Can I invest in BOTS using a business account?

Yes, it is possible to invest in BOTS using a business account. However, there is a specific requirement you need to fulfil, which is obtaining a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) code. Please refer to the following FAQ for more information on how to obtain an LEI code and proceed with investing using your business account.

To obtain an LEI code, you will need to request it from the Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) if your business is registered in the Business Register.

Please follow the steps below:

• Contact the Chamber of Commerce: Reach out to the Chamber of Commerce to inquire about obtaining an LEI code for your business account.
• Submit the necessary documentation: The Chamber of Commerce will provide you with the required documentation and instructions to apply for an LEI code. You will need to complete the necessary forms and provide any requested information about your business.
• Processing time and fees: Please note that the process of obtaining an LEI code may take approximately ten (10) working days. Additionally, there is typically a fee associated with this service. As fees may vary, it is recommended to check the current cost directly with the Chamber of Commerce. At the moment, the cost is €70.45,-(excluding VAT)
• Verify the LEI code: Once you have received your LEI code from the Chamber of Commerce, ensure that you have it available for use when investing with your business account.
