If you are experiencing difficulties logging in to your BOTS account, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
- Restart or force stop the application: On Android devices: Go to Settings --> Apps --> BOTS and select the option to restart or force stop the application. For iOS devices: Force stop the BOTS application by closing it and reopening it.
- Clear cache (Android only): On your Android device, go to Settings --> Apps --> BOTS. Select the option to clear cache, which will remove temporary data that might be causing the login issues.
- Restart your device: Whether you are using an iOS or Android device, try restarting it to refresh the system.
- Disable VPN/Proxy: Ensure that you do not have any VPN or Proxy service activated on your device, as this can interfere with the app’s functionality.
- Uninstall and reinstall the BOTS application: If the previous steps did not resolve the issue, uninstall the BOTS app from your device. Visit the respective app store (App Store for iOS or Play Store for Android) and reinstall the BOTS application.
Always make sure you are using the latest version of the app. If you have changed your mobile number and forgot to update it in your BOTS account, it can cause login issues because you will not receive the SMS verification code. In such cases, please refer to our FAQ “I’ve changed my phone number, but forgot to change it in my BOTS account. What do I need to do to get back to the application?”
If your phone number is correct, but you are not receiving the SMS code, try the following steps:
- Close the BOTS app.
- Wait for a period of 1–2 hours.
- Try requesting a code again.
Typically, the code should arrive within 2–3 minutes, and it expires after 5 minutes. If none of the above steps should work, please provide us with the following information from your device so that we can escalate the case to our technical team. You can find this information in the “Settings” on your device:
- Phone model, its operating system (OS), and version (e.g., Xiaomi 12, Android 13).
- BOTS app version (e.g., 4.0.2).
- If you receive a specific error message when trying to log in, please provide a screenshot. (e.g., API_REGISTERING_PHONE error message when inserting phone number)
- Your current location where you're using the BOTS app
