Unfortunately, this is not possible. Individuals who have not reached the legal age in their country are not eligible to open a BOTS account. Even with the consent of their parents or guardians, minors cannot register for a BOTS account due to compliance and security purposes. BOTS requires the account holder’s name to match the IBAN or bank card when withdrawing or depositing funds within the app.
What happens if a minor registers an account on Bots?
Bots has a dedicated compliance team that conducts regular checks on a daily basis. If a minor is found to have registered an account, it will be immediately blocked and deactivated. This is done to ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain the security of the platform.
What happens to funds deposited by a minor user?
If a minor user has deposited funds into their Bots account, those funds will be transferred back to the user’s registered IBAN. If the user does not have a registered IBAN, they will need to provide BOTS with a bank statement confirming their name linked to the bank account, as well as a copy of their ID. BOTS will then refund the amount to that bank account.
Can a user reactivate their account once they reach the legal age?
Yes, once a user reaches the legal age in their country, they can reactivate their Bots account. To do so, they will need to provide BOTS with their personal details, and complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure, which may include submitting identification documents.
It's important to note that complying with legal age requirements is crucial to ensure a safe and secure trading environment for all users. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Support for assistance at support@revenyou.io.
