In the latest version (4.0.2) of the BOTS app, we have introduced a convenient solution for users to change their address directly within their BOTS account. This article will guide you through the simple steps required to update your address and ensure that you have up-to date information in your user account. Please make sure you have installed the latest app version before proceeding with the instructions.
- Update to the Latest Version: Before you can change your home address, ensure that you have the latest version of the BOTS app installed in your device. If you are unsure about your app version, please visit the official App Store or Play Store, depending on your device, and download the latest version.
- Log in to Your BOTS Account: Launch the BOTS app on your device and log in to your BOTS account using your linked phone number. Once you're logged in, you will be redirected to your account dashboard.
- Access Account Settings: Tap on the “Profile” menu located in the upper-right corner of your home screen.. In the menu options, the first section will be the “Account Settings”.
- Change Address: Under the “Account” section, locate and select “Address”, here you will see your current address displayed.
- Enter Your New Address: Enter the street, number, city, postal code and the state or province.
- Save Changes: Once you have entered your new address, click on the “Save” button located on the screen. This will save your changes and update your address associated with your BOTS account.
Important to note: The country of residence field cannot be changed for security purposes, so if you have moved to another country and would like to change your home address, please contact our Support Department from the e-mail address linked to your BOTS account, with the following details:
- The last 4 digits of your IBAN (linked to your BOTS account or from which you made a deposit)
- Any official or legal document that contains/connects your name to your new address (address cards, ID cards with home address, residence permits, contracts, census certificates, etc)
The elaboration of the change request can take up to 2 business days. We will contact you when the details have been changed or if we need more information.
