You can usually start a bot unless it has reached its maximum capacity or market cap. The developer of the algorithm may set limitations on the number of users or volume the bot can handle efficiently.
What does it mean when I receive a “Bot is full” notification?
When you see a “Bot is full” notification, it means that the bot you are trying to use has reached its market cap or maximum capacity. This typically occurs when the bot is handling a significant volume of transactions or user requests. The market cap indicates the maximum amount of funds or users the bot can accommodate effectively.
What happens when a bot reaches its market cap?
When a bot reaches its market cap, it means that it has reached its maximum capacity to handle additional users or funds. If you encounter this situation, you will not be able to start using the bot until space becomes available. However, when existing users stop using the bot and withdraw their funds, it frees up space for new users to join. The bot's market cap can fluctuate as users enter or exit the bot.
Can I be notified when space becomes available in a full bot?
Certainly! If you receive the notification stating that a particular bot is currently full, and you are unable to invest in it, don't worry. You can take advantage of the “Add to Watchlist” feature by clicking on the icon located in the top right corner. Then, access the “Profile” menu and choose “Assets & Payment”, followed by selecting “Favorite bots”. This will enable you to conveniently monitor the bot's availability from your list of “Watched bots”. By doing so, you can easily check if any space has become available.
Are there any alternatives if a bot is full?
If a bot you were interested in is currently full, you can explore other bots offered in the Bot Store. They may have similar or alternative strategies that align with your investment goals. Additionally, you can consider monitoring the availability of the bot you're interested in and join it once the space becomes available.
